AVA Academy joins the AI and Social Mobility Challenge Prize cohort

AVA Academy has joined the 2026 AI and Social Mobility Challenge Prize cohort. The programme, delivered by Social Tech Trust and EY Foundation, brings together early-stage ventures using AI and emerging technologies to widen access to education, skills, employment and opportunity.

For AVA Academy, the work is about making university application preparation more accessible to students who do not have a professional network or private tuition to draw on. Our platform supports subject exploration, application planning and practice for admissions tests and interviews. We are developing the evidence and governance needed to make that support useful to both students and institutions.

Being selected for the cohort is an opportunity to test our assumptions, learn from peers and strengthen the case for equitable admissions support. It is a programme selection, not an award or evidence of student outcomes.

We will share substantive progress here as the work develops, separating what has been built from what has been independently demonstrated.
